Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a system broadcasting, without the need for action from the pilot or any request from ATC, that provides an enhanced set of aircraft surveillance data to Air Traffic Management (and potentially to other airplanes)
In anticipation of the EASA (EU) 2024/590 regulation mandating the replacement of halon extinguishers by 31 December 2025, PMV Engineering has secured a new STC covering ATR42 and ATR72 aircraft.
Through a strong partnership with ATR, PMV Engineering has developed a retrofit solution (EASA STC) for the installation of the Starlink aeroterminal on ATR 72.

The ULD upgrade consists of replacing the battery, in the existing (30 days) ULB, with a new Li Ion battery to support 90 days ULB operation. There is one ULB attached to the cocpit voice recorder and one ULB attached to the flight data recorder.

To allow usage of new noise reduction BOSE® Boomsets, this modification deals with replacement of the existing Jack Panels and Boomsets by new ones on ATR aircraft.
Noise reduction function is provided through the addition of a 28VDC power supply to each Jack Panel.
