Introduction

QCM design provides the EASA STC for the ADS-B Out upgrade including LPV approach capability on the Cessna 500/550/S550/560/560XL aircraft type.

This STC provides operators with a cost effective and easily installed solution to meet the upcoming ADS-B Out mandate in 2020.

This STC provides operators with a cost effective and easily installed solution to meet the upcoming ADS-B Out mandate in 2020.

The design entails the installation of an UNS-1Lw FMS system from Universal, including LP/LPV monitor and GPS WAAS antenna. The modification includes the replacement of the exisisting transponder system with dual ADS-B compliant TDR-94D transponders from Honeywell.


Your benefits

This STC allows compliance with ADS-B Out mandate as well as LPV approach capabilities by means of upgrading the currently installed aircraft transponder and FMS system, providing an elegeant and cost effective solution instead of installing stand alone additional units dedicated uniquely to show compliance with ADS-B.
