Introduction

Overview

Fokker Services offers a certified solution for the integration of Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), supporting modern navigation, surveillance, and performance-based operations. This upgrade ensures compliance with global mandates while delivering operational efficiency and precision.

Your needs

What is SBAS/GNSS?

GNSS enables global position, velocity, and timing data via satellite signals, while SBAS enhances the accuracy, integrity, and availability of GNSS signals — critical for ADS-B, PBN, and LPV approaches.

Our solution enables your aircraft to meet key regulatory and performance criteria through a robust and globally interoperable SBAS setup.

Your benefits

Improved GPS accuracy and integrity using SBAS clock and signal corrections
Global coverage with seamless transition between SBAS zones
Fully certified and regulation-compliant solution
Enables advanced operations such as:

  • ADS-B Out / In
  • LPV / RNP / RNAV approaches
  • Performance Based Navigation (PBN)

Operational efficiencies:

  • Reduced fuel burn and emissions
  • Better runway access and lower approach minima
  • Increased airspace capacity and traffic flow
  • Lower noise impact with optimized approach and climb profiles

No need for ground-based ILS or other landing system infrastructure
